I learned how to identify which needs aren’t being met and how to gain control of my own needs, rather than throw a fit if a need isn’t being met. It’s helped me feel less flighty in my life, and always have an escape route. I’m better at asking calm, honest questions rather than trying to manipulate a situation to get a certain result. My biggest takeaway is that I’m NORMAL. I’m not broken, I’m a human being with human experiences and emotions, and how I manage those is in my control.
